Sculpture excites, captivates and draws a visitors attention into a garden, completely different to how plants do. My clients wanted a garden to display their collection of sculpture , subdued planting schemes and layered green textures intentionally provide the perfect backdrop to the striking pieces of art and sculpture contained in this city garden. Modern lines frame green garden vistas complimenting artworks and architecture , water has been combined with sculpture platforms and pedestals. Not without its challenges during the installation of this garden, the extra-large Wild Plum trees we planted in the internal courtyard had to be brought in through the homes interior during construction. They were worth the effort and are now fully at home screening off the house and its interiors from surrounding city houses providing a sense of scale and established feel to this modern home.
